Post Doc researcher
One position of Post Doc researcher is available for 1-3 years. I am seeking for collaborative and innovative candidates who are interested in aquatic microbial ecology and evolution, especially for mountain regions. Research backgrounds can be flexible, ranging from population ecology, community ecology, microbial ecology, environmental microbiology, molecular ecology, theory ecology, ecological modelling, biomathematics or bioinformatics.
The candidate should have at least one peer-reviewed publication. Salary will be commensurate with the Post Doc position according to NIGLAS (€1500-2500/month) or to grants/fellowships (>€4000/month), and be higher based on experience and performance. If applying for fellowship-based positions (e.g., PIFI), please contact me at any time. The PIFI aplications could be submitted before three deadlines per year (that is, April 15, July 30 and September 30), and the decision will be made within two months. The successful candidate will be well financially supported in exploring independent projects based on his/her interests, and is also encouraged to bid for new available funds.
No due date for above opportunities until positions are filled. These postions are expected to work partly outside of China (e.g., in University of Helsinki). Inquiries are welcome and can be addressed to Jianjun Wang, JJWang(at)niglas.ac.cn.
